BROADBAND TRAINING

MS Communications, successful in the telecommunications training business since 1981, was founded by our President, Melinda Crawley. She has researched, designed and presented over 400 training sessions to the Independent Telephone industry throughout the United States, Canada, Micronesia and the Caribbean. The training has evolved with the rapidly advancing techology and today it is in the forefront of broadband training.

Since 2003, we have suffessfully helped roll out the triple play for over 30 telcos and stimulated sales for companies already rolled out. Our past launch experience adds depth to our training and provides insight - ranging from practical successful ideas to pitfails to avoid. Our broadband training provides an effective blend of customized, hands-on technology, sales training and customer service to help telcos launch their broadband services.

CUSTOMIZATION

Using a questionnaire, we customize the training session to

  • The Client's techology, pricing and bundles, broadband data, voice, and video offering and customer service issues and more.
  • Comparison of these same specifics to your competition. We cover your local cable competitor and both Dish and Direct TV.
  • Research is conducted before training.
  • A Tool Kit (for In-House use) (click here of pdf) prepared from the competitive information that CSR and installers can use in the field. Deemed the most valuable tool by employees.
  • Telco Channel Guide (for In-House use) (click here for pdf) explains the name and content of all TV channels covered. Customers really like them.

GOALS and HOW WE TRAIN

  • One goal of our training is to make everyone in your company ambassadors of the broadband services, and then provide more in-depth training for your service representatives and installers for an over-the-top broadband launch.
  • The lecture/hands-on training, role-plays and competitive analysis are the right combination to give employees a comfort level with broadband that will enable them to sell, answer questions and trouble-shoot.
  • When training is complete, the Telco has a knowledgeable and confident broadband team. CSR can answer questions and up sell on incoming calls, and in downtimes make sales calls out. Installers can find needs, sell and team sell with a CSR when their schedules are heavy.
  • Customer satisfaction is improved since all can answer questions.
